God implanted the vision in us: ” Equip disciples of all nations; Commission disciples back to their own ethnic communities; Bless communities with the Holy Spirit and love; Obey the Lord’s Great Commission.”

Ministry is always “flowing as it happens,” and so is our Discipleship College. Although we didn’t know in advance, but when the time came, God’s made it happened. Through His Grace, His will for us is done. In May 2016, we officially started the discipleship course. In the first year, there were 20 young people from Thailand and Burma. One student said: “I have the desire to seek God as well as the opportunity for further education. I also want to study Christian theology too so that I can serve God full time in the future. However, I don’t have a good academic foundation and I am not up to the standard to pursuit formal theology study in the seminary. However, God opened His gracious door for me here. I will try my best to equip myself, build myself up, and seek His will. After achieving the academic level required, I’ll go to a seminary for theology study and wish that I can faithfully serve the Lord throughout my life.”

Thank God! When the course came to its second year, there were 35 students from four countries including Thailand, Myanmar, Laos, and Vietnam. They came from diverse ethnic minority tribes. According to the needs of the students, they are equipped in Chinese, Burmese and Thai, under the name “Golden Triangle Mission Center”. Our teachers are pastors coming from local northern Thailand and foreign. Our courses are generally about basic Christian theology. Although the students’ biblical knowledge, language skills and learning ability may vary, they can always allow everyone to participate in studying together, supporting each other, and growing together.
